Hey everyone,
I was wondering do you guys know if there are any online casinos out there that will let me play their online casino games without an internet connection?
The reason why I ask is that there are several times where I'm away from a wireless hotspot and want to just play the games for fun in free mode anyway. It would be great if I could just play without the need to connect to the internet. I don't see why online casinos wouldn't offer something like this as it would definitely be convenient and help players who are learning to play games in their free time when they don't have an internet connection do so.
I'm more keen on finding an online casino software provider that offers casino software that does this (ie. Playtech, Microgaming, etc...). I've tried buying some free casino games packages and they've all been disappointing so far.
Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

Once upon a time I think that either Playtech or 888 used to have something like this in place but I don't necessarily think that they do this any more!

I really don't beleive myself that there are any online casinos that offer such a thing in a way where you'll be able to play their games offline even for the learning expereince. The reason being that all online casinos are essentially just shells and all the transactional elements of the gaming expereince take place on remotely hosted servers. The client / application that you'd normally have installed on your computer are communicating with these servers in order to get the results that are then displayed. I do vaguely remember some casinos doing this in the past but things have evolved so much since the olden days of online casinos that I'm not sure whether they'd offer anything like this really!

Yeah I agree I don't think what you're looking for exists any more it may have at one point but only for select games even in that case.
If you do discover something like this please let us all know here on the message board as I think we'd all be interested in playing when we're board and for example on a plane, etc...

Well the idea was that I wanted to play while I fly and know that there isn't any internet access while you're flying. Anyways hopefully that will change at some point in the near future.

Would be really a cool thing to have though as a feature to be able to play without the need to connect to the internet.
I do agree and have heard what Phizzle is talking about as well. I think that US Airways may have also just introduced internet on planes which is worth looking into!
